"You really must hurry! There is no telling what those barbarians are doing to my equipment." - Fez Burba to the Republic operatives. It was one of missions that was executed by Republic Operatives
- tried to remember his master that he was no longer in this position, but Burba ignored the comment, saying it was just a re-assignment to even more important place since Coruscant
was not in immediate danger. Burba explained that he was about to solve Tatooine's permanent drought problems when disaster struck his research. His research indicated that there could be massive reserves of water deep beneath the planet's surface. He was testing his theory when the Sand People
raided his laboratory. He added that he was about to send BT-9 to retrieve the results, but the droid assured his master in a panicked voice that it was impossible because of the hordes of Sand People who were still pillaging that region. Burba added, that he had already sent three other droid assistants to retrieve the data, but none had returned. Burba asked the operatives to find and return his science data to him, and, if possible, return the memory cores of his missed assistants. The operatives agreed to help, and went to the Eastern Wound region of the Junland. As soon as operatives reached the region, they found that it was swarmed with Sand People warriors. It became obvious that the Sand People were planning a major attack on nearby settlements and the operatives decided to intervene to slow down their preparation. They engaged and killed more than two dozens of Sand People warriors
- brigands, assailants and snipers. The operatives also destroyed several war totems to discourage the raids from proceeding. Finally, they killed many elite
Sand People chieftains, to ensure that Sand People would be significantly less organized, along with many groups of pathfinders, marauders, deathwhsiperers and raiders. Along the way the operatives retrieved all three memory cores from Burba's destroyed assistant droids. While they were fighting the Sand People, they heard that they often call for someone - the Herald of Bloodgouge - who could be the leader of Eastern Wound region. They found and destroyed his personal totem, provoking him to appear from one of tents and attack. He was huge and powerful being, his attacks were ferocious, but at the end he was no match for hardened and experienced operatives and was killed. The operatives collected the tribal leadership banner from the dead warrior and took it with them as proof for the citizens of Largona. A few hours later the operatives finally found the folder with Fez Burba's reseach results. The operatives returned to Camp Largona and gave the folder and the memory cores to Burba. At first he was very pleased, but when he saw that the pages were not in their original order and it would take weeks to sort it properly, he became furious. Thanks to BT-9, who assured his master that he would start to work immediately, Burga calmed down a bit. He expressed his gratitude to the operatives and the operatives left.
